Crossword Puzzle wrapping paper

My sister, again, sent me the coolest link to some crossword puzzle wrapping paper. She spotted it on the dieline.
It comes with 20 phrases in which you can highlight (like Merry Christmas below) and wrap.
Too bad its not for sale (unless you found it.... let me know).

tokketok

A few days ago I came across this site called tokketok. A nice little site about letterpress and other great paper and design finds.

The designs are so clean and refreshing.

They has a lovely little blog too...

and you must read here and listen how designer Joke Vande Gaer's little boy Oliver says tokketok.
Adorable.

Time-out

I'm signing off for a few days.

Our house is near completion.
Lots of organizing, painting and decorating to do.
Some friends are visiting.
Kids need some extra playing time.
Christmas shopping needs to be finished.

See you soon!

Meanwhile here are a few links I like:

-If you've done and did Martha's tissue poms for most of your parties lately, try these poms. They're a new twist, they'll last forever, and you can make them any size.
-It's time to get your holiday photo cards ready. A friend of mine designs these cards. They are adorable and affordable!
-Got extra felt scraps? Make this fun felt garland for your Christmas Tree.
-How about wrapping paper? Check out this fancy wax leaves wrapping paper from Anthropologie.

My favorite inspiration...

I could gawk at Naomi's work from hello naomi all day long. Everything she makes is, as Mary Poppins says, "practically perfect in every way"-
Especially her flikr photos.
As well as her work for the lovely scissors.paper.cake and imprintables

Did you know this came in colors?

Chalkboard paint? I sure didn't. I just found out today and I couldn't be more excited about it (being that we are currently building our home). I'll be hitting up some of our walls with this stuff.
This blog has a few neat ideas on how to use chalkboard paint other than on the wall.

Book-Themed Baby Shower

Ohdeedoh featured this adorable baby shower by CJ and Pink Tea with books as the theme
-which I think is the best way to choose a theme for any party
{like the Hungry Caterpillar party we had last year}.

You can get free downloads for games and favor tags from the orignator, Pink Tea.

Japanese happy tape

The Japanese couldn't make tape any cuter.
I'm glad Hawaii has their fair share of Japanese
because I can find washi tape pretty easily, and inexpensive too.
If you don't any sources near you, have no fear,
its all over the web.
Happy Tape for example.

I love these simple examples of using it:
