Christmas Tree Cookies

Soooo... I sell Avon, and came across one of their products I thought and considered to be blog worthy.

It's a 10 piece cookie cutter set that, when gradually stacked on top of each other, forms a 3-D edible Christmas tree! And if you wanted to have 10 different sizes of stars, well, it works for that just as well. And maybe I bought one for myself. Just maybe. For only $7.99 who can resist!

Get yours here!

Stamping cookies

Stamped+cookies

Stamping cookies!
Genius.

This idea, from Country Living, is awesome.
Now I have a reason to increase my stamping collection (which I rarely use).

Cookies make me happy

...and it would make me even happier to go home with some after a party.

They make great party favors.

I especially like these picture below.

So, I purchased these two (1, 2) a few weeks ago in getting ready for my sons 1st birthday. Each of our guests will be going home with a homemade cookie.

Milk & Cookies party

I love the idea of a milk and cookies party. It's a great way to have a beautiful buffet but without all the candy- a healthier alternative (well, not exactly healthier, just not as bad).

Button, button, who wants a button? (especially if it's a cookie)

These cookies would make a perfect addition to a baby shower or any type of circle or a small/tiny themed party.

Mothers Day cupcake ideas

I went on a cyber-hunt for some good cupcake decorating ideas for Mother's Day. I'm not making cupcakes this weekend for my mother or mother-in-law, we're making sugar cookies instead. BUT, since cupcakes are all the rave right now, there are a lot more photos and ideas to choose from. We'll just copy them onto the cookie. Here are a few of my favorites:

(I'm thinking how yummy these will be on a sugar cookie with cream cheese frosting!)

The faster way to frost and decorate cakes or cookies

Meet Hello Frosting. They make icing decals to place atop cupcakes, brownies or cookies. It beats the time, money and frustrating of doing it yourself.

Check out their shop. Very cute stuff.

Cookies

Cookies seem to be the hot take-home party-favor item lately. Who wouldn't like them either? They are cheaper than filling a bag up with toys and candy, you can easily tie them in with your party theme, they are adorable, and everyone in all ages loves eating them.

Some favorites:

Jelly beans!

For me, jelly beans are the best thing to eat around Easter time.
I even LOVE the black ones! Of course the Jelly Belly brand is my all time favorite.

Take a look at these cute jelly bean cookies! We'll be making these come Easter in our home. You can get the recipe and free box download here
