Wrapping inspiration

If you like simple packaging and wrapping and don't already read this blog... then click on for her latest [WRAP] Package tutorial. I felt like I had to share because I get most of my gift wrapping inspiration from Sally J Shim.

She makes kraft paper look so good.

Easter Pakaging

I like to get a new movie for my family as an Easter gift.
This year it's Bambi!

Fringe is in!

I came across a pair of shredding scissors (the ones where you shred and cut up important documents- like these), but found a better use for them.... creating party accessories!

Blue/white and Yellow/white stripe- Moose and Zee party hats

I use them to cut the tissue on the tops of my hats, recently wrapped a birthday gift and cut the edges with them, made some Valentine treats, created a banner, and now have spotted some in a sneak peak of Martha Weddings Spring 2011 at (100 layer cake), titled Fringe Benefits.

Of course theirs are much prettier. I love that cake!

Now, go out and grab a pair of shredding scissors....
it's party time!

tokketok

A few days ago I came across this site called tokketok. A nice little site about letterpress and other great paper and design finds.

The designs are so clean and refreshing.

They has a lovely little blog too...

and you must read here and listen how designer Joke Vande Gaer's little boy Oliver says tokketok.
Adorable.
