Let me gloat for a little while here.... Because I'm SO excited that Parenting Magazine decided they wanted to feature one of my little party hats in their May issue. Its out as of a few days ago, so go grab one and look at page 1 and page 80 for the little beauty. You can also read the online version with Zinio. Tip: you don't have to sign up for a few peeks. I have made hundreds of party hats and I just don't think I will ever get sick of them. 

They just keep making me smile.

Real Parties: Dr. Seuss

This is what happens when a wonderful customer has a brilliant idea for a birthday theme, then comes to me and collaborates for some customized party hats.

Her theme was Dr. Seuss and I ended up putting together some

Thing 1 and Thing 2 party hats for the kids. 

They came out adorable. 

...and it makes me want to throw a Dr. Seuss party.

Valentine Party

We're getting ready for a little Valentine's Day party on Friday for my 2 year old. We invited some of her friends to come over to decorate cookies, make Valentine cards, and have lunch. It should be fun.

We have too many empty baby food jars floating around our house, so we made these Valentine favors out of them. I spray painted the tops white and glued a tissue pom with a tag on top of each one. Then filled the jar with M&Ms and pretzels.

No party is complete without hats!

I've converted my daughter into a hat lover. Every time she sees me making them she says, "oooh, a party!", and then wants to try it on.

Love these two colors together- blue and yellow.

Yellow, orange, and pink HATS!

We were up to our heads in hats last week. I helped a customer throw her parents a huge 60th birthday bash and made 300 hats for her guests. Every hat had a flag inserted on top with each guests name.

The colors were great. Along with the yellow, orange and hot pink, there was aqua blue dinnerware. Amazing!

Goldfish Party: Part I

I started working on my daughters goldfish cracker themed birthday party this past week. 

I'm getting really excited about it- probably more than she is since she's only 2. 

Here are some hats, cupcake toppers and invitations I came up with. 

We paired the invitations with a small bag of goldfish crackers.
